adoseofapril If you haven’t seen my stories (I’m saying this as if you have to watch them...), I was inspired by @amyastrid to see what my feed looked like this time last year compared to now (it’s a bit difference...spoiler alert 🚨). It got me thinking, I often get downhearted when it comes to my growth and how I don’t see to be growing as much as some people (first bad move there I know), I always take it personally and think it’s because I’m obviously not doing something that people want or like. But I need to start remembering of how far I’ve come since I decided to start taking blogging seriously last year and how much I’ve grown. This time last year I had about 500+ followers, no blogging pals, no direction for my content, no brands wanting to work with me and my flatlay skills definitely weren’t up to par for Instagram. I also wasn’t very confident at all with how I looked so hardly any full body shots at all. Now look at me...I’ll take a photo in a busy street because I’m doing it for them “gram” and I fucking love how I look in an outfit. It’s easy to beat yourself and get down about not “achieving” or “succeeding” like others but it’s not until you actually see how far you’ve grown that you realise...YOU’RE DOING GREAT HONEY! So this is a message for anyone else out there that doesn’t think they’re doing well...you are and keep on doing you because people love what you do and well if they don’t, they’re missing out!
